I have a almost 14 year old daughter with Crohn s who came home from school, today, after vomiting twice. She has since been dry heaving, no fever. She has had head congestion, runny/stuffy nose, sore throat, body aches and exhausted for the past 2 days. Her abdominal area, which is achey in the front above her belly button, only cramps when she dry heaves. She does have many allergies but non to foods. This is typically not her body s way of showing a Crohn s flare up. I m trying to decipher if these are the beginning stages of flu-like symptoms vs a Crohn s flare up. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
