Suggest Remedy To Stop Diarrhea

hello. i am from the UK and currently in thailand. about 6 days ago i thought i just had a bad hangover but the next day it got even worse, i was vomitting, had diaorrhea, headache, fever..i got some anti-biotics from the chemist and the fever has gone. I still however have diaorrhea. I have eaten minimally since Monday and am worried I am not getting any better. Please help asap as I cannot leave our room and we are meant to be travelling about!!!! I am 23 years of age, female, weighing just under 10 stone and am 5'6''.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Diarrhea, vomiting, headache and fever are indicative of intestinal infection, gastroenteritis to be precise.
You should have continued the course of an antibiotic till cure.
Also take a PPI like Pantoprazole and Domperidone if the nausea continues.
If there is any associated symptoms, you needs to take symptomatic treatment like Paracetamol for fever and antispasmodic for pain in abdomen.
Also needed is supportive treatment with antacids, electrolyte solution, yogurts and curds, activated charcoal tablets.
Use only boiled and cooled water and soft bland diet if the vomiting has stopped.
Consult a Doctor as required so get investigated for stool and blood; get an appropriate prescription based medications as needed.
