Suggest Suitable Exercise With A History Of Heart Disease

Hello. I'm a 54 yr old healthy woman who was walking 5 miles per day until march 2010. Had heart attack. Cath shows great vessels , no blockages except tiny distal artery too small to stent. Sent home Plavix, BP excelent. Second Heart Attack Dec 6 this year. Cath good again..diagnosis Coronary vasospasm. No blockages. On calcium channel blocker. Blocked artery from March open and running.



Worried about exercising, keep nitro tabs with me. I am mad, I want to start running program. What do you think??.

I have gone thru your query and am over whelmed to see your history . I would like to know , what is your diet plan ? Height / weight .

Besides heart attack your history is excellent , no blockage ----- Bp excellent-------blocked artery open and running------very encouraging
,even better than those who never had an attack . Congrats for that .

In addition to exercise, being careful about what you eat can help you lower cholesterol, control blood pressure and blood sugar levels, and maintain a healthy weight—while simultaneously improving your mood.

As you’ve already been diagnosed with heart disease you are 54 yrs young lady ,I would say a long way to go , a heart-smart diet can help you better manage these conditions, improve your outlook, and lower your risk for next heart attack..
As far as exercise is concerned you can walk till -- befor you get tired .
You should do yoga pranayam - deep breathing -, Kapalbhati , Anulom Vilom , Bharamari , Omkar Nad . meditation .

By avoiding fried fast foods too much of salt ,sugar, tea, coffee ,alcohol , smoking ,stress ,constipation you can increase your immunity and hope for better future ahead .
