Suggest Treatment For Abnormally Large Gums And Very Thin Upper And Lower Lips In Infants

I am a lactation consultant and am caring for a baby with abnormally large gums and very thin upper and lower lips. I have never seen this before in my work or training. Initially when I glanced at baby s mouth I thought it had cleft lip but there is no cleft. Do you know what this is?? It looks very abnormal.

Hi

It is very much likely to be due to gum hypertrophy. Kindly review the medication taken by mother. Multivitamin supplement to baby will be helpful.

Take care
