Suggest Treatment For Blood In Stools
Sir.
my wife is getting treatement for IBD since last dec'11.
From last 4 days we are finding blood in the stool. It started after she consumed 7/8 rajma beens and increased Y'day morning after she had 1 tea spoon castor oil.
Pls help what should we do, we are unable to contact the Dr whom we are consulting.

Your wife is diagnosed with IBD and she has blood in stools.
To my opinion it may be related to relapse of IBD. So it is important to know which are her current medication . At this situation she need to use corticosteroid drugs.
otherwise before running in to a final conclusion she need to be evaluated with blood work and PCR.
You can go to ER to get an accurate opinon.

Based on facts of your query, Your husband seem to suffer from-
IBD with Blood in stools.
Colitis post rajama meals with ?accompanied mostly castor oil/ and infection / has lead to blood in stools.
Treats-
Avoid solid food for 3-5 days.
Tab Ciplox 500 mg / 2 per day x 5-10 days
Tab Mebeverine 1-1 / 2 per dayx --"--
Liquid diet with rice/smashed potato porridges
Butter Milks x 2-3 times per day.
Banana Milk Shakes x 2 per day
Cap Vit B12 1000 mcgm
Tab Folic 50 mgm.-For faster recoupment.
Gradually increasing semisolid / and then solids with Bland diet for 10 days.
Follow this to recover soon.
