Suggest Treatment For Cold In The Kid

Hi my baby has a bad flu not breathing well due to mucus.....hasn't slept all night and day......what do I give her? She is on antibios n cetrizin but still......she is 9months........I am tired and she is equally tired fussy,crying.....can I give celestamine on top of her dosage?

Welcome to healthcaremagic
In my opinion you stop cetrizine as it dries secretions and delays clearance.Put saline nasal drops in both nostrils six times a day for 5 days.Cold takes 5-6 days to heal in newvorns

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM.
Please continue the antibiotics and antihistaminc with required doses.
Add some nasal drops with antipyretics like paracetamol which will relieve his tiredness and fussyness.
