Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

If symptoms are coming down after starting antibiotics and she is playful, we need not worry, just complete the course as suggested. The said drugs will not usually affect urine output.

Anyhow, its better to stop meftal-p as fever is not there now. If at all needed, give paracetamol.

Low urine output in children usually suggest dehydration- so give plenty of fluids and see the response. If still no improvement, she develops edema or dark coloured urine, take her back to pediatrician for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK
