Suggest Treatment For Consistent Cold And Rashes On Eyelid
Hello, my 8 month old is has a cold for several weeks now. A bottle feed her because she doesn t want to eat anything solid. She has congestion, running poo, cough, high temperature and abit of a rash on her eye lids. Her running Bose has a bit of blood in it and her eyes are getting sticky. I think that she maybe teething so I am give her teething powder, some cough syrup and some kavol collapse for the congestion. But nothing is changing in fact I think it seem like it getting worst. We are travelling to Africa soon should be worried ?
Hello dear! Its a viral illness.I would recommend antipyeretics like paracetamol 120mg/5ml 3 ml 4-6 hourly if she has fever along with some good anti allergic or antihistamines like benadryl 2.5 ml at night Give her some home remedies like 1 teaspoon of honey in luke warm water and avoidance of cold water ,cold drinks. Also try weaning foods.Start with rice based cereal and then gradually add half boiled egg.If she has been given vaccination according to WHO guidelines, she must be vaccinated by now from pneumonia.I think by following these preventive measures you should not be worried. Hope it will help.Stay blessed :-)
