Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection In A Baby
hello doctor my baby is 9 month old and has ear infection from last 20 days. we used medication for 5 days (antibiotics and ear drops) and then used only ear drops for 10 days...doctor then advised not to use any medicine and leave the ear dry for 15 days..the situation does not seem to improve.please help

As per international guidelines, antibiotic ear drops are actually contraindicated in an ear infection. The best treatment in this scenario will be oral Amoxicillin-clavulanate at the appropriate dose for a period of 10 days, please. I suggest you stop ear drops immediately.
