Suggest Treatment For Enlarged Adenoids In A Child

Hello Doctor!
My 5 year old son has following symptoms- frequent throat infections, breathing difficulty at nite, snoring, with his mouth open. X-ray confirms enlarged adenoids. Surgery suggested. my query is, should I wait till he is grown up and the adenoids gets shrink on its own or go for the surgery? the symtoms are quite frequent though and despite being otherwise a healthy and active kid, his chest, throat etc are always in problem. pls advice!

From the symptoms you have described it sounds although there is no reason to delay having your sons adenoids removed.
Best wishes
