Suggest Treatment For Fever Post Expired Tablet Intake

yesterday i feel like losemotion type then i took 2 tablet Ekme-Entoquol yesterday afternoon, after take the medicine i feel fever with chills, weekness then i took the paracip 500 but not relief, again i took 2 tablet Ekme-Entoquol and paracip 500, again i feel high fever with high chills then i saw Ekme-Entoquol medicine was expired on march 2017. Now i feel relex comparison to yesterday. but i feel weekness. should i consult to doctor or take any other medicine? Please suggest.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

According to my opinion 2 possibilities can be suspected -

1. Fever might be due to infective diarrhoea
2. or it may be due to decreases secretions and heat loss because of akme entoquol (loperamide).

However if fever is not there right now, no need to take medicines either for infective cause or for fever it self.

Just drink oral rehydraion solution for 1-2 days to alleviate weakness because of dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.
