Suggest Treatment For Fever
sir, my daughter is suffering from fever from monday, we consulted paeditician , he prescribed 2.5ml dose of cefixime 2 times a day with meftal every 5-6 hours. But her fever is not coming down.On giving the meftal it comes down but again after 10-12 hours it rises to 102.Please advice.

Greetings of the day
Most common cause for fever in children if respiratory and urinary tract infection is ruled out is non specific viral infection which is self limiting.
I would suggest conyinue using Meftal P suspension and also cefixime . The fever will subside in 2-3 days.
