Suggest Treatment For Impetigo

I think I have impetigo in my pupic area. I had a scratch there when I got impetigo on my face and now even though my face has almost healed the sores on my pubic area are continuously spreading down my legs and doesn t seem to be healing. What can I do?

Hello,

I suggest you to take an oral antibiotic e.g. either amoxicillin or cephalexin for a few days. In addition, I suggest you to use an otc topical antibiotic e.g. either Neosporin ointment or Mupirocin ointment.
