Suggest Treatment For Loose Motion, Abdomen Pain And Fever

hi, my child is a 5yr old girl .she is having recurrent episodes of loose motions since 2 months.she complains of pain abdomen also.previously she was not having such problem.this started after she had very high grade fever 105 degree farenheight.can u plz guide.

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. Hope my answer was helpful for you. By what you quote i think she should be evaluated thoroughly. I have few questions and suggestions for you -
Questions:
1. What was her birth weight?
2. What was her weight before this started 2 months back?
3. What is her current weight?
4. Does she have any other serious infections till now?
5. Is there any family history of irritable bowel disease or inflammatory bowel disease or celiac disease?
Suggestions:
1. She needs work up for celiac disease/ inflammatory disease?
2. Needs work up for immunodeficiency?
3. She might require a upper GI endocscopy and colonoscopy and biopsy.
