Suggest Treatment For Meniscus Tear

I fell three weeks ago on concrete driveway. The G.P. Took X-ray and it was not broken. She sent me to an Orthopedic doctor and he took another xRay and not broken. He stated it plus be a torn meniscus. I am now back home and saw my Dr. Today and he orders a bone scan. He stated it is not a torn meniscus. What are your thoughts? I am in a lot of pain......

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
As per your explanation I suggest you can go ahead with the mri of knee. And if it shows torn mensch then based on severity of meniscus injury the ortho will suggest for arthroscopy or for physio therapy. And even if it is not meniscus injury only some soft tissue minor damage you have to take physiotherapy. Here therapist will give you ultrasound treatment which will help for soft tissue healing and next is IFT which will help for pain relief. Along with this you should also use hot and cold pack at home. Therapist will also suggest you on simple knee exercise and gradually will also guide on strengthening of knee. Which will again help you more.
I strongly recommend don't worry just follow the steps I told and it will be fine. It is completely treatable as well curable condition.
Hope this was helpful for you. For any further detail you can also mail me on nirajmodish@gmail.com
