Suggest Treatment For Non Itchy Rashes On Arm And Torso

Hello Doctor, My two year old son has a NON-ITCHY rash on his torso and arm. Please see the photograph: WWW.WWWW.WW It started over TWO WEEKS ago, just after he was a little unwell, with a slightly higher than normal temperature. The rash started out as small spots, but has since spread and clumped together. It is bumpy to touch. The doctor gave us Fucidin cream, but that has had no effect and the rash continues to spread. He is not unwell, and the rash does not seem to affect him. He has not had this in the past, and no-one has caught it from him in the time he has had it. Thank you Doctor - I appreciate your time with this matter, Regards, Craig

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Is there any fluid filled vesicles? A rash that follows fever is usually viral, and need not be worried about. They will spread gradually, reach the peak, and the resolve, with associated peeling occasionally. In usual cases, this will not last beyond 7-10 days. If you need more clarification, consult a doctor directly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
