Welcome to healthcare magic for your health concerns
I am Dr Fahim and I will be looking into your problem

I have gone through your question and understood your problem and concerns. It appears to be neuralgic pain and numbness associated with damage to lateral cutaneous nerve of the thigh which is common problem after inguinal hernia operation. It results in a syndrome of a dull ache, sharp pain, burning sensation, tingling or numbness in the distribution of the lateral cutaneous nerve of the thigh also known as meralgia paraesthetica. If such a patient walks into my clinic a reassure him that with time it will get better, and prescribe pain killers like diclofenac sodium and cap gabapentin 300mg OD to resistant and worse pain cases. One month bed rest after this operation is good enough, Now you need to start your normal life activities. It will help in your early recovery.

I hope my answer will help you. Do rate it if you like it.
