Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am an insulin dependent, taking human mixtard 25 units in morning & 30 units in night, aged 48 years from last fifteen days I am feeling severe pain in legs, and afternoon times severe tiredness, pls help, moreover I have undergonea hydronephrectomy in 1986.
As you are diabetic I will advise you to start doing exercises as most cases with diabetes will have some kind of a pain in the lower limbs and tiredness due to dysfunction of the metabolism.
For improving the metabolism and improving the muscle strength for ADL one is always advised to do exercises. As your age us 48 it's always good to do some exercise rather making the muscles weaker.
In my clinical practice of over 12 years, most diabetic cases have similar complaints and they do well with exercise as they keep on doing with regularity.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
