Suggest Treatment For Pain In Scar Of Anti Reflux Surgery

Hi, I had anti reflux surgery 2 months ago but i am still in a great deal of pain. I was told the surgery went fine as I was slim and nothing went wrong. However I was in a great deal of pain after and was in hospital for 5 days, found myself in bed for 4 weeks after, and still have a great deal of pain across my diaphragm. I also have a great deal with belching. It is very sore across my upper back when I need to burp. Under one of my scars it sometimes just randomly starts pulsating and is very very painful. So I apply pressure hold it for a little while and then it goes away.
Im very concerned as I was told I would feel better alot earlier. Im still even finding it uncomfortable sleeping. Could you please help? thanking you (female,23)

Hi, as A GI surgeon i am doing lot of antireflux surgeries.Belching and dificult to burp is a common problem after surgery specially after fundoplication. Both these symptoms can aggravate after surgery if you have these symptoms before surgery.Both these symptoms will take some time to get settle. PPI with some prokinetics,avoiding aerated drinks,milk can help.
Pain along the diaphragm can be due to some collection which we can rule out after X-Ray chest and USG abdomen.
Pain along the scar will take some time to get settle or one can take intalesional steroid injections
