Suggest Treatment For Shin Splints

I have had a crunching noise n mainly my right ankle for almost 4yrs now since I first had shin splints. It hurts after walking or any physical activity. I stretch/exercise it almost everyday and it still won t go away. Now its somewhat in my left and hurts a lot. Should I go in and see my doctor?

Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic. After going through your query I think You are suffering from osteoarthritis of both ankle joints. You need further investigation by x ray of both ankle joints for which you need to see your doctor. Analgesics (DICLOFENAC SLOW RELEASE TABLETS) whenever pain is helpful in pain relief. Diacerinre and glucosmine sulfate protect cartilage from breakdown and help in cartilage regeneration.Quadriceps exercises is started after pain relief. You can discuss with your treating doctor. I think your query answered.Welcome to any follow up query.
