Suggest Treatment For Spotting And Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy
Hi, I am 32 years, Female, 5 Ft, 54 Kgs. I am 6 weeks pregnant. I had spotting last week and have been having a regular discharge (pinkish mucous like). The first Transvaginal Ultrasound shows a thin layer of fluid (0.22 cc) around the sac, covering 30 to 40% of its area. A faint hearbeat has been detected at 114 bpm. 2 different docs have advices separate things - (1) Proluton injection and Susten 300 mg to be taken vaginally (2) Hucog injection and Duphaston tablet to be taken orally. Which is the right way to proceed?
This bleeding is suggesting that there is risk to your pregnancy. However, ultrasonography has revealed that no damage has occurred to the baby. Probably the support given by the uterine lining is not sufficient to the baby or the baby's tissues binding the uterus are week. Therefore your doctor has advised you support by progesterone which makes the lining of the uterus more conducive for the nutrition of the growing baby and bind it properly. Proluton, Susten and Duphaston are Progesterone preparations. They will help you. Hucog is a human chorionoc gonadotrophin which is produced by the chorionic tissues of baby. Any of the two options is good. I would prefer the second option. I hope you got your confusion cleared.
