Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood the concerns. You are already taking Ornidazole and Ofloxacin for stomach ache but the stools have turned dark and deeper. This can be due to the changed bacterial flora and effects of antibiotics. You are also taking Tegritol and Nexito and may not be related to the present problems. It is always better to get the stool tested as well as blood and urine. Continue the antibiotics and see for the results. Consult your Doctor again if need be to get additional investigations and additional management as needed. Take antispasmodics if required. Take plenty of boiled and cooled water, use homemade foods only. Take a PPI like Omeprazole since you are taking medicines to avoid any gastritis related problems.
