Suggest Treatment For Stomach Upset And Nausea

Suffer from reflux. Really bad week, stomach upset, uncomfortable feelings in the chest area, nausea, not able to eat, just sips of water for the past few days. Anxiety has kicked in. Feel as if you are having a heart attack. Taking anti anxiety medication as well as Ranitidine and Pantoprazole for the reflux. Feeling better today and am eating very small meals. Am worried it is more than just the reflux. Any ideas?

Hello,

I'm sorry you are experiencing this. The reflux symptoms and the anxiety may sometimes be interrelated, the reflux causing anxiety and viceversa and they can aggravate each other. I'm glad you are taking this medication and you are on your way to getting better, so no need to worry.
The stomach, being very rich in nerve endings is highly sensitive and affects one's mood and well being. So make sure you take all medication regularly and try to eat small meals at regular intervals.
I hope you feel better soon.
All the best
