Suggest Treatment For Trouble In Digestion And Hard Feeling In Chest

i am 43 female .i had radiotherapt for breast cancer six years ago .since i have trouble with digestion a brick feeling in my chest and throat .camera down showed hole in oesphagus.took lanzoprazole for three years .now take chinesse meds instead its not as servere but still there is there anything more i can do

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Radiotherapy for breast cancer 6 years ago might have caused the problems with lungs, esophagus and nearby structures.
This might have caused the weakening causing the whole in esophagus which Lansoprazole can take of is only the acid part that can come up as GERD.
Hence you should go for the repeat esophagoscopy to know the present status of the esophageal ulcer and thence to decide about further management.
Heaviness chest could have been due to changes in the muscles and ribs and changes in the lungs and pleura; a CT scan of the chest can tell better about the status of all these organs better.
PET scan be done to for any recurrence of breast cancer.
Take soft meals.
Do not use spicy and oily foods, no smoking, no drinking.
Stress and anxiety should be kept under control as these are also contributory factors.
