Suggest Treatment For Typhoid Fever In Kid
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Hi my neighbours son 6 yrs old is having typhoid fever. He was hospitalised for 2-3 weeks continuously and gave antibiotics but fever never came down. The doctors advised for some people fever may not come down immediately it may take some time? can u pls advise why is it so?

Hello,
In some patients fever might persist for long. Antibiotics must be continued and you can go for a blood titre to check whether the infection subsided or not.
