Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And Fever

My daughter is vomiting and has fever. She hasn't taken any food because she is afraid to puke. She doesn't want to drink ORS either because she doesn't like the taste and vomit if we push her to. She can only tolerate bananas about 3 or 4 small bites. Her fever is getting better. I don't know what else to give her so she doesn't vomit.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your daughter fearing vomiting hence not eating much, takes only bananas in small pieces, does not drink ORS because she does not like the taste and vomit if you push her, fever is getting better, wants to know what else to give her...
As per the history you have provided about your daughter you may please try the following under the guidance of a Doctor as these may be prescription based medicines in your country.
Give her a PPI like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole to control gastritis.
Domperidone as per the weight thrice daily to control the feeling and actual vomiting.
Antacid liquids three hourly. This will help her with the symptoms so that she may eat and drink after say an hour and then you can certainly give her Paracetamol for control of fever.
Also the Doctor would ask for blood tests, X-ray of the abdomen in the standing position, ultrasound as needed and give additional medicines like antibiotic if need to be.
