Suggest Treatment For Vomitting And Loose Motions With Fever

child is 2yr 3 months old..suffering from vomitting and loose watery stools from past 3 days. had shown to doc. he prescribed a probiotic, mefenamic acid ,ORS n ondancetron sys. vomitting has stopped but low grade continious fever is there. along with that loose motions have not stopped. pls suggest medicines..thank u..

I really appreciate your concern, if the diarrhea is associated with fever then it demands the medical attention and in pediatric age group one has to be very much alert because it could be bacterial infection, first thing is to correct the dehydration, controlling the body temperature because it also causes the dehydration, better to see the er hope this information helps.
