Im 17year old male teen. I just don't seem to loose weight. I'm not chubby chubby but could loose some weight.. I don't eat anything that fatning- I dont live on Mc. Donald or potato chips like my other friends.. I hear that you gain weight then get a growth spurt? is that true? thanks

Welcome to HCM, Hello,If the weight is as per your height than you need not worry ,dieting for a teenager is not advised as this is your growing period and dieting may have bad impact on your growth,NO you don't gain weight in the growing spurt as the height and weight increases together Does 1.Eat a balanced diet 3 times a day 2.Take lots of fiber rich diet ,this will control your weight 3.Avoid unhealthy snakes ,fried snakes 4.Drink lots water 5.Daily walking/exercise Thank you Dr.Krupa
