Swollen Forearm After Sustaining An Injury. Should I Be Concerned?
I'm a thirteen year old girl and I hurt my wrist in pe. Ok so Thursday at about 11:15am one of my friends who is a Boy kicked a soccerball super hard. When I blocked the ball I did it with only one hand now my arm is swollen from my elbow to my fingers. (It is now Friday night at 7:50) I was wondering should I be worried
Welcome to HCM. Pain, swelling is due to soft tissue injury and collection of blood inside. Apply ice pack 3 to 5 times a day. Start nsaid with serratiopeptidase. Local application of nsaid gel will be helpful. Avoid any extra movement of that hand. Avoid exercise, sports activity till get complete cure. It will cure within 7 to 10 days otherwise go for x-ray and proper medications under guidance of orthppedician.
