I had got a free examination by planned parent hood about a year ago, it was then that they had noticed a small lump on the inner right side, they told me it was likely a blockage of secreations and to go home and put a very hot wash cloth on it and it would allow it to drain. I did so and nothing happened, ever since It gets really swollen after sex, at the moment there has been no sex and my labia is the biggest I ve ever seen and it is excruciating pain. Please help
General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely bartholin cyst.It develops when the ducts of bartholin gland gets blocked.Antibiotic treatment is tried first if infection is there.Marsupialization is the definite treatment. It is a surgical process that involves making a slit on the cyst and stitching the edges of the incision. This creates a permanent opening that lets the cyst drain freely.A local examination with a gynecologist can rule out the condition.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
