Swollen, Tender Finger Following A Blunt Force Trauma On Knuckle. Prescribed Antibiotics But No Relief. Ruptured Tendon?

the knuckle on my index finger is swollen limited movement and very sensitive to touch. I had a blunt force trauma with a tree branch. the tear healed but the knuckle continued to swell. I thought it might be an infection from something left id the cut but I am on antibiotics with no change. I am thinking a ruptured tendon from the impact. any thoughts?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
You may right but chances of ruptured tendon is very less likely better to have x-ray test done to confirm it because possibility of fracture can not be ruled out, you can try any NSAID meanwhile have nice day.
