Symptoms Of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Thrombocytopenia, Low Platelet Count. Scheduled Pelvic US, Blood Test. What Is It?
My dghtr is 16 yrs old, dr. said symptoms of polycystic ovarian syndrome, ordered pelvic us, but bldwrk came back with very low platelet count, 64,000. did more bloodwork today, she put dx of thrombocytopenia, doing peripheral smear and cbc. Thiswas the first time she's seen this dr, failed to tell this dr. she was dx'd w/sweet's syndrome (biopsy was done and confirmed). Could these be connected? (autoimmune system)?
