Taking B12 Intramuscular Injections. Sore Upper Gums, Swollen Eyelids, Pains In Upper Legs, Tender Skin. What Do You Recommend?

I have been getting B12 intramuscular injections for over 10 years now and now the levels have stabilised. I am still effected by symptoms that i would have in the run up to needing an injection, such as sore upper gums, swollen eyelids, pains in upper legs, tender skin, extreme tiredness etc. Perhaps these are just withdrawal symptoms or something. Can you recommend anything to ease these symptoms, as i am finding it difficult to concentrate at carry on at work etc. Thank You.

Hello,

Sore upper gums usually occur due to periodontal infection or abrasion/erosion of teeth.

I would advice you to get a thorough scaling done by a dentist.

Maintain oral hygiene well.

Brush and floss your teeth as well as tongue daily.

Use chlorhexidine mouthrinses to gargle.

Avoid vigorous brushing methods.

Plenty of fruits as well as vitamin c supplements has to be administered.

Take care.
