Taking Dexilant For Gastritis, Uncomfortable Pain Below Rib Cage, Painful Menstruation, Cramps. Pain Reliever ?
I went to c a dr last Monday. He said I have gastritis and I'm now taking 60 mg of dexilant 1 time per day. I'm having very uncomfortable pain still below my rib cage and it feels like painful menstrual and diarrhea cramps. Can I take an over the counter pain reliever for pain? Could heavy alcohol use have caused this from three yrs ago ?

It is possible that heavy use alcohol in the past might have produced gastritis.
for having pain in abdomen due to gastric upset or painful period you can take Dicyclomine tablet as and when required.
Continue with Dexilant.
Avoid fried, chillies and junk food.
