Taking Primolut For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Is This The Correct Treatment?
pardon bad english.. hi i am 23, i m suffering from irregular periods.. they atrted when i was 16, intially periods were regular for 2 years, but then i suffered irregularity,... last year i went to doctor she said me i m suffering from PCOS.. i completed her course.. but it wasnt effcetive.. then i switched to other doc.. completed her course too... i was on primolut N.. its been more than a month that i have completed her course n i m waiting to get natural periods..but its still not happening.. when do u think they will start or when do they normally start after stopping such courses.. should i consult or switch my doctor?
Hi, PCOD is characterised by irregular menstrual cycles. Sometimes it could be severe and may not respond to a single drug alone or the medicine may be required for longer period of time. So instead of changing your doctor, please go for a follow up and let her know that your cycle has not regularised. This would help her in modifying your treatment plan. Hope this helped. Take care
