Taking Raciper D, Vizylac And Normaxin For GERD And IBS. Dryness In Mouth Better But Gas And Bloating Persist
I am 50 years old and as far back as i can remember I have had gas. Whichever area you press in my body, I burp.
Its been about a month now that I have had a very dry mouth. The tongue feels there is cotton wool around it most times and sometimes feels like I have scalded it. Lips and the area inside the lips are also very dry. The edges of the lips have developed cuts. The doctor has diagnosed GERD and IBS. I have been taking Raciper D with Vizylac before breakfast and Normaxin before lunch and dinner for a week now. The dryness is mildly better (on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the worst, it should be 2.5). The gas and bloating is still the same. I am very lethargic and always drowsy.
Please advise.

It appears that you have some infection, in the G.I.tract, and causing symptoms.
I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment.
i usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, omeprazole, domperidone.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts,and
protein rich foods to hasten the recovery.
