Teenager. Sharp Pain In Lower Abdomen After Having Unprotected Sex Followed By Blood Spotting With Brown Discharge. Help

Hello doc, I am 19 years old, and I am currently on birthcontrol. These past couple of weeks (right after my period was supposed to end) I began having very sharp knife-like pains in my lower abdomen/uterus part of my vagina, along with heavy brown discharge. I had unprotected sex (my boyfriend has no STD's, 100% sure) the day after I thought my period had ended (my discharge was normal) and the day after that I had some red blood spotting, and that is when the pain began along with the brown discharge. Help?

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to HCM.
I can understand your concerns for brown per vaginal discharge. Now there can be many a possibilities regarding this brown discharge including Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), certain sexually transmitted disease and other wise in normal conditions also.

But as your discharged is accompanied with sharp penetrating pain in your lower abdomen and near vagina so it is best to consult a gynecologist who can examine you best and then rule out any serious possibility. Avoid any self medications to control your symptoms as can prove dangerous especially in pain part. So meet the gynecologist at the earliest.
