Thick Skin Colored Clot In Tampon, Periods Started Yesterday. What Could Be This?

my last period began on May 9 and then it was my anniversary so I went on birth control June 7th (4 weeks later) before my next period came. I just took the Nuva Ring out July 5th and began my period yesterday. Today when I pulled out my tampon a very thick , skin colored "clot" came out about 2 inches long and 2/3 cm thick. I have no idea what it is

thanks for the query.
the clot that u have seen might be the epithelium that is formed around the nuva ring .its been 2 months that you have not menustrated so there is nothing to worry .if it continues n have pain, itching and foul smelling of the tampon kindly consult ur nearby doctor.
