Thickened Endometrium, Hyperechoic And Intact. Poly Cystic Ovaries Suggested. Can You Explain?
I got my result today and it said that cervix with normal size and echotexture. The uterus is normal in size, retroverted, with no myometrial lesion. Teh endometrium is thickened ag 1.25 cm, hyperechoic and intact. Both ovaries contain multiple, small, subcapsular follicles less than 1 cm in size, more than 12 in number , suggestive of polycystic ovaries. No free fluid in the cul de sac. please explain thanks.

Hi, it is suggested that you have poly cystic ovaries, rest of the things are normal. policystic ovaries causes irregular periods, and difficulty in conceiving.
This is to be treated with combination of harmones oestrogen and progesteron. for few cycles, and after confirming by scaning you can proceed for treatment of infertility. Thank you.
