Tight Skin In The Vaginal Opening. Burning And Pain While Having Intercourse. Suggestions?
i have a scar tissue like skin around my vaginal opening leading into my opening. one makes like a complete circle but in the center its just like regular skin. the other on is just a line. sexual intercourse has been painful and feels like a major burning due to friction, could this just be scar tissue or something else? im 17 years old and have been with the same guy for two and a half years.
Hi, Thanks for the query. Sometimes excessive folds of the labia minora can be mistaken for pathological tissue. Post-coital tear sometimes can lead to formation of scar tissue. Anyhow as you are having pain better to consult gynecologist once and get examined. If there is any possibility of infection, you may need antibiotic course. Both the partners to be treated simultaneously and you have to maintain abstinence till the completion of the treatment. Using lubricant can help in avoiding pain during intercourse.
