Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Your chest pain can be caused by heart problem or by
rib nerve irritation due to compression or inflammation (so called neuralgia). Heart pain is usually burning or squeezing, radiates to the left arm or jaw. Can appear with physical activity. Neuralgia gives well localized,
stabbing pain which aggravates while moving the chest.
Calf pain should be always checked with thrombosis indeed. Especially if you use oral
contraception, or had a trauma recently in this area. Other possible reasons of
vein thrombosis are varrices or a cancer (this should always be verified as such thrombosis can be a first symptom of a cancer).
I suggest you to have heart ECG, Holters 24 hours ECG (young persons can suffer from heart arythmia) and
stress test if necessary. If no heart problem reveled, you should try anti-inflammatory nonsteroidal drugs for this pain (Diclophenac).
You should also have D-dimer level checked and if elevated, Doppler ultrasound of your leg should be performed.
Hope this will help.
Regards.
