Tingling Feeling Around Inner Knee, Red In Color. Any Ideas?

Yesterday i was at a carting event, nothing i had done seemed to cause this to happen, but when i got out of the cart i walked around and started to feel the surface area around the inner knee starting having a torching tingling feeling and it was getting worse and worse. No position i was in made it feel any better. I then took off my race suite and "let it breathe" which was the only thing that i felt would relieve it at that moment. It was RUBY red from the moment i first checked it out. It still, a day later, has a very distinct shape and is still very red. Some parts appear purple.

It appears to be the arthritis, or a slip of the cartilage, of the knee. i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have M.R.I for diagnosis.
