Treatment For Loose Stools And Hot Flushes?

My mother is 90 years old & in a residential home. She has a history of loose stools, which have been constant over the past few years. She can go the toilet up to 5 times in an hour. Today she has been having hot flushes as well as the runs. She has been taking tablets over the past week but they don t seem to have much affect. Don t know the name of the tablets, but she has to take two when the symptoms are bad, and one each time she has a loose episode
