Hi, from on 16 of june to 19 I saw spotting n tot it might be inplantation bleeding wit mild cramping.I went for a scan. Below is d result. A marginal bulky non gravid antevert uterus 72.4mmx 48mmx54.2mm wit inhomogenous myometrial echotexture; uterine outline is lobulated across d anterior segment.no extra uterine gestation, no retained product.distinct ovoid-shaped, echolucent solid mass 32mmx30mm(subserous) attached to antero-fundal segment within corpus uteri.sizeable echo-free fluid within cul-de-sac,?PID. can u pls explain it to me
The uetrine has no fetus, means first you aren't pregnant. The sizes of the ovaries are of normal dimensions. There anterior aspect of the uterus or your womb has as aspect like lobules. The image shows nothing very specific but the radiologist thinks with the image seen in the anterior aspect of the body of the womb, it resembles things that are seen in Pelvic Inflammatory Disease(PID) or some infections of the pelvis.
He is not very sure of this, reason he presents it as a question(?). This deserves a clinical evaluation and laboratory tests to be sure. It is advisable to see a gynecologist to be sure.
Thanks and hope this helps. Best regards,
Bain LE, MD.
