Uric Acid Level Elavated To 9.3 After Stopping Medication. History Of Multiple Gout Attacks. Advice Diet Plan For Lowering Uric Acid

my uric acid level is 9.3 now. I already had 3 Gout attacks. I was before Gout medication & uric acid was 5.0 but after stopping the medicine the level again elevated to 9.3
Do I have to take the medicine for life time?
I am pure vegetarian and also avoiding the cauliflower, spinach, but still my uric acid level is still 9.3, What else should I not eat OR what should I eat regularly to lower down the uric acid?
Please suggest.

Welcome to HealthCare Magic

Hope you are doing good. There are many causes of Elevated uric Acid like hereditary reasons , Diet may be a factor , reduced excretion by the kidneys , Fasting or rapid weight loss can temporarily elevate uric acid levels , Certain drugs etc. You wont need to take the medicine for life time if you control your uric acid level.

You should take care of your diet like :
High-fibre foods : Dietary fibre may help absorb uric acid in your bloodstream, allowing it to be eliminated from your body through your kidneys. Increase the consumption of dietary soluble fibres such as Isabgol, Oats, Spinach.

Cold-pressed olive oil helps you avoid the production of excess uric acid, which is associated with the consumption of rancid fats.

Vitamin C reduce the amount of uric acid in your system, regularly taking 500 milligrams of vitamin C will decrease your uric acid levels in a month or two.

Avoid bakery products

Fruits and vegetables such as red bell peppers, tomatoes, blueberries, broccoli and grapes are rich sources of antioxidant vitamins. Antioxidants which are vitamins that prevent free radical molecules from attacking your organ and muscle tissue cells may help lower uric acid levels.

Drink a minimum of 3 and 1/2 liters of water daily. Water is a medium that aids the kidney to 'strain' the impurities from your body.

Also avoid high-protein weight-loss diets which can cause you to produce too much uric acid (hyperuricemia).

With managing you diet you will get better out come. I Hope have answered your Query. Feel free to ask if you have any Query. Wish you good Health.
Regards
