Vaginal Itching, Redness. Using Papaya Soap To Clean Sensitive Part, Have Long Nails. Cause?
Hi. I'm 17 years old. My vagina itches but with no discharge. The outside is sore and itchy and the second lips, the innerones has a red spot. I started feeling itchy when I finished ny period, could this be associated with the fact that I only use papaya soap to clean my sensitive part? Plus my nails were a little long then and I scratched when it itch

Hi,
It seems that due to unhealthy hygiene during period might be giving this problem.
Keep local hygiene clean, dry and airy daily and particulary during period time.
Change sanitary pads frequently.
Wash your local parts with running plane water.

YES,Chemical irritants ,which may be present in your soap can cause itching and your nails might have caused the injury.
Vaginal yeast infection can cause itching but it is associated with discharge generally.
Avoid colored or perfumed soap,toilet tissue and bubble bath.
Avoid feminine hygiene sprays and douches.
Change out of wet clothing, as soon as possible.
If the itching doesnt subside you must get examined by a gynaecologist.
