Hello ma'am.

If all the symptoms you experienced when you were diagnosed with the infection have subsided and you were symptom free on completion of the course, then you were sucessfully treated. Provided you did not experience a relapse.

Vaginal odour can at times be attributed to simple causes like dehydration, change/imbalance in vaginal pH, etc.

Please request for a vaginal swab culture. On recieving the reports, if the report reads the presence of any growth, then you could have an infection. But if it reads 'no growth', then you do not have any infections. This is how you can find out whether or not you have an infection.

The next thing you need to request for is a vaginal pH analysis. Check whether or not this is within range. Also a physical examination by a doctor including the use of a speculum should help in ruling out any anatomical causes for the odour. You can follow this up with a transvaginal ultrasound scan (TVS) as well.

Hope thos helps.

Best wishes.
