Vein Raised And Knotted Between Joints, Sore To Touch And Having Constant Ache. What Is It?

I have a vein that is raised and is knotted in between my first and second joints. It is sore to the touch but doesn t appear bruised. It is hard and is causing an constant ache from my finger down my hand to elbow and shoulder. No swelling, no bruising, and no trauma that I am aware of. What could this be?

It is called thromboflebitis and it is usually caused by giving injections or glucose in vein. Your symptoms are matching with it but as you are saying that you are not sure about any trauma.I would suggest you to take Brufen tablet , apply warm water over your vein and thrombofobe ointment. You will be completelyfine in very short time.
