Was Alcoholic. Abnormal SGPT ALT Levels. Can I Not Quit Medicines?
hi my age is 36 years i aws ahlcolic and my SGPT ALT level was 90 two years back. I take regular watch on my SGPT LEVEL on regular intevals and it comes as 90,75,65,90,80,60,52, two moths back i have gone through a complete body check nd my SGPT ALT level was123. i cosult a snr doc. and taken regular medicines and the same comes to 55. as soon as i left medicines for few days the same gone to 99 again. Y SO....?

If you have stopped alcohol,then there may be other issues which are responsible for your high SGPT levels.
These issues could be
Obesity and high fatty diet resulting in fatty liver.
Lack of exercises.
Chronic abuse of various medicines like anti biotics or anti inflammatory medicines.
By the way there us no medicine to cure your high levels of SGPT.
just change your lifestyle by avoiding alcohol,fatty and junk food and colas,doing daily exercises and consuming fresh fruits and green vegetables.
See to it that you don't have diabetes as tnis may also result in fatty liver which ultimately results in high SGPT.
