Weakness In Thighs, Soreness, Constipation, Loss Of Appetite. Taking Vitamin Supplements. Suggestions?
I am a 69 year old male. I have weakness in my thighs and soreness. I am very irritable. I have constipation. I am always cold even when I keep the air conditioning at 80 or 81 degrees. I have lost 25 pounds with a three month period due to a loss of appetite. I have been following a diet free of gluten, soy, corn, eggs, peanuts, and dairy for about four months. I rarely eat out. I take numerous vitamin supplements. I have had many blood tests, MRI's and CAT scans. Where do I go from here?

Hello Sir, As you are feeling weakness in your thighs and soreness and very irritable too, these all symptoms of Geriatric effect means due to ageing these symptoms may appear, here I suggest you to do some muscle toning exercises , which will tone up your muscles along with vitamin supplements containing ginseng , which might give you some strength, also take high protein diet. along with this you may take some hormonal treatment and anabolic steroid injections under guidance of your physician. For constipation you can take green vegetables and fiber diet, by this suggestions you might improve your appetite and relieved of your constipation. Good luck & take care.
